I am a 58-year-old Orthodox Jewish writer in Cleveland, Ohio. My long and variegated career spans the founding of a successful printing business in New York at the age of 17, producing made-for-TV movies, founding an unsuccessful business, and serving in executive roles at Silicon Valley startups, Microsoft, and IBM—followed by more than a decade as a freelance content writer in the technology industry. During this time, I have drawn on my experiences to write essays about subjects that range from media and society to the state of the Jewish community and reflections on life’s challenges.
My writing has appeared in The Daily Beast, HuffPost, and The Washington Spectator, in addition to my cybersecurity blog, The Journal of Cyber Policy. I also write books about the Jewish perspective on addiction recovery under the pseudonym Boruch Binyamin, and fiction under the pseudonym Harold Benjamin. I am also the author of books about the relationship between technology and business, cybersecurity and national security, and marketing.
